Fencing & Gates in Cambridgeshire
Close-board, feather-edge and decorative fencing, plus timber and metal gates — set in concrete to stand up to the open Fenland wind.
What we do
Fencing built to take the Fen wind.
Out here the wind comes off the open Fen with nothing to stop it, so a fence that isn't put in properly doesn't last. We set posts in concrete to the right depth, use quality timber, and build close-board, feather-edge and decorative panels that stay put through the winter.
Whether it's a new boundary, a replacement after a storm, or decorative screening to give a patio some privacy, we'll do it tidily and clear the old fence away — across March, Chatteris, Doddington and the surrounding villages.

What's included in a fencing job
Posts set properly
Concreted to the right depth so the fence holds against the open-Fen wind, not just for a season.
Close-board & feather-edge
Solid, long-lasting boundary fencing built panel by panel, not flimsy pre-made panels.
Decorative & screening
Slatted screens, trellis-topped panels and privacy screening to lift a patio or seating area.
Gates & clearance
Matching timber or metal gates hung to swing true — and the old fence taken away.
